Match Result – Bordeaux Pit
Wednesday 12th July
(Silvers and F1’s only)
1st Place – Roger Phillips – 20lb 3oz
2nd Place – Pip Kerry – 10lb
3rd Place – Nick Coote – 9lb
Yesterday evening we held another match at Bordeaux pit. The weather was trying it’s best to put a dampener on it but the lake fished well again. The new Skimmers are proving tricky to catch giving the angler loads of bites but keeping them on seemed to be the problem.
Roger Phillips drew peg 29 and rotated two lines all evening. He started on pellets then switched over to maggots which made the difference. Roger weighed 20lb 3oz made up of two F1s a nice Tench and skimmers and Roach along with some small Perch to take the win.
Pip Kerry has seemed to have taken up permanent residency on peg 26. Pip fished a waggler also on maggots to weigh in 10lb for second.
Nick Coote drew peg 34, Nick had a fun night playing with the lakes Carp! But managed two lovely big Bream and bits to take third with 9lb.
