WHITTLESFORD -knock-up
1st: Brian Mizon 8lb 07oz
2nd: Clive Bradford 5lb 12oz
4th: Craig Henderson 4lb 110z
5th: Fred Hunt 1lb 06oz
A small but intrepid band did battle against the ever-increasing weed at Whittlesford in our latest knock-up match. The fish being caught seem to have got progressively smaller since the first match six weeks ago.
Brian Mizon ran out the clear winner on a tough day. He also, once again, ferried the 25lb of fish caught over to Bordeaux. Thanks again Brian!
Fred Hunt did not really fish for the whole match, spending some time raking weed and discussing future plans……
The upshot of which is that the Club Match planned for Whittlesford this Sunday [21st July] has been CANCELLED. Instead there will be a ‘knock-up’ match at Bordeaux, fishing around any casual anglers.
