Following the rather extended visit from Darragh this weekend, our waters have taken a bit of a soaking.
Bordeaux:
Fortunately the trees have not suffered too much, though there are a number of smaller branches an twigs in the water, so keep an eye out for them.
The ground is pretty sodden so some of the paths are waterlogged and a bit slippery in places, so please take extra care when walking around.
Some of the pegs have been submerged, in particular Pegs, 1, 5, 7, 8, 9, 13, 14,15, 18, 26, 27 28, 29, 30 and 33. They may recover a bit next week if the promised drier weather materialises, in the meantime, you may need to fish side-saddle in some of them.
Whittlesford:
The paths are a bet soggy and slippery and unlikely to dry out much for the next day or so.
One small dead tree has blown down, but has mostly been cleared away already. Be wary of any smaller branches and general debris that may have fallen later today.
Only a couple of the pegs have been submerged; ‘Bar’, ‘Court 1’ and ‘Snags’. The rest are OK at the moment.
