Bordeaux Pit – Peg Status [25/01/25]

Following the recent heavy rain, the chart below summarises the state of the pegs at Bordeaux Pit.

Eight pegs are either not accessible, or submerged to the extent that they are not currently fishable. Another eight are currently OK for use, though obviously the banks and pathways are damp and a bit slippery.

The majority, shown as submerged or semi-submerged, can be fished by sitting either further back from the water’s edge or by accessing the water from the bank next to the designated peg area. In all cases, care is needed as the banks are particularly damp and slippery. As always. access to the lake is at the member’s own risk.

Please do let us know of any successes over the next few weeks, which is normally a very quiet period for fish activity generally.
