Congratulations to member Geoff Warwick, who is the first to bag one of our new residents at Bordeaux. The beautifully scaled Mirror tipped the scales at 20lb and was caught with an 8mm Activated Cell pellet presented with a size 14 hook via a Method Feeder, using a 10ft feeder rod. Great job!

As promised, Geoff has been given the honour of naming the fish. Maybe a little mischievously, he has chosen ‘The Reeve’….
By way of explanation; Bordeaux regular Alan Reeve told him exactly where to fish for it on the day. Interestingly though, Google tells us: ” ‘Reeve’ is a gender-neutral name of English origin, meaning “bailiff”” so it sort of works on a couple of levels……
Who will bag our other newbie?
