Sunday 6th July Home Farm – Little Walden [Small Lake]
We were back to our near neighbours at Home Farm [Little Walden]. The ten of us fishing filled up the Small Lake.
Some heavty downpours around midday added to the fun, but things dried up in time for the weigh-in.
RESULTS:
1st. Nick Coote [Peg 1] 58lb 08oz
2nd. Mark Fitzjohn [Peg 6] 44lb 06oz
3rd. Stu Curtis [Peg 3] 39lb 06oz
4th. Mark Evans [Pe 5] 18lb 13oz
Over to our ‘on-site’ reporter [Mark Evans] who speaks the language of the ‘match’:
“Nick caught 6 in the middle in the morning. Had a go old to run down the edge late on dead reds. Mark caught on maggot in the middle in the last 3 hours. Stu battled down the edge. Me at 11 metres with meat down to my left where carp keep showing. Surprised to be 4th.”

Many thanks to Mark for standing in for Fred Hunt today, though he did turn up at 11am – just to make sure it was all being dne right.
