Match Result – Sunday 9th May – Rockells Farm
1st Place – Roger Phillips – 101lb 0oz
2nd Place – Rick Macarthy – 37lb 12oz
3rd Place – Graham Carter – 23lb 8oz
Today we visited Rockells Farm for round five of SWAC “Winter League”.
Roger Phillips was handed peg 11 and struggled to get a bite until the last two hours. Odd fish were being caught in the margins and this was the only place that switched on for Roger managing a late run to weigh in with 101lb.
Rick Macarthy drew peg 15 and also spent most of the day fishing short to weigh in 37lb 12oz for second.
Graham Carter got off to a flying start on peg 12 using a jigger to catch three carp in three put ins. Graham also finished in the Margins to take third with a weight of 23lb 8oz.
