Today SWAC held round six of the winter league on Willow lake at Lawn Farm. On arrival it was noted that a real cold breeze was blowing straight across the lake which would make fishing tricky.
Roger drew peg 24 and the rumours at the start were that lots of little fish hold in this peg. Roger fished to the cover on the left of the peg and two long pole lines to weigh in 20lb 13oz for the win.
Kevin Watkins first SWAC match went well drawing peg 35! Kevin rotated lines to weigh in 17lb for second place.
Adam Salter left it late from peg 36 to catch a Bream on the whistle which took biggest fish and pushed him into third in the match!
