SWAC Winter League Round 7
1st Place – Roger Phillips – 111lb 0oz
2nd Place – Daniel Storey – 74lb 14oz
3rd Place – Stuart Bradford – 74lb 11oz
Today SWAC travelled to Rookery Waters to fish Jay lake for round 7 of the winter league. Recently lots of F1s were stocked so all were hoping for plenty of bites.
Roger Phillips was given peg 38 for the day. Things didn’t all go to plan for Roger as a Goose decided it wanted to crash land on his top kit roost snapping four topkits!!! Other than that episode Roger fished two lines over to the reeds and a line down the middle to weigh in 111lb for the win.
Daniel Storey drew peg 11 and also fished two long lines either side of the tree on the far bank,also fished his margins to weigh in 74lb 14oz for second.
Stuart Bradford drew peg 19 and started off fishing his long margin but only caught small F1s so switched to long pole and managed to catch Carp to weigh in 74lb 11oz for third.
Adam Salter managed to catch a beautiful Goldfish “instant Win”
