This morning, members of the committee welcomed the latest stocking of Bordeaux Pit – roughly 5,500 5″ and under skimmers and roach AND roughly 45 2.5lb+ bream!
The small silvers were predominantly stocked into the large pit, however roughly 1,000 were stocked into the little pit to grow on and provide good sport for the young anglers getting into the sport and the rest of us alike!
All of the big bream were stocked into the big lake. Some of them weighing 6.5lbs! Now that’s a bream! We hope that these bream will be present in the lake for years to come and breed to provide us with some more skimmers in the coming seasons.
