Rookery Waters – Rook Lake
First Place – Mark Evans – 8lb 9oz
Second Place – Roger Phillips – 7lb 10oz
Third Place – Peter Warren – 6lb 12oz
A very hard days fishing was had by all at Rookery Waters (Rook Lake) with the wind and rain beating down most of the day.
Mark Evans drew peg 14 and fished the feeder most of the day catching some Rudd a couple of Skimmers and a bonus 2 1/2lb Tench! Mark also landed a small Carp that didn’t count but took first place with 8lb 9oz.
Roger Phillips drew peg 2 switched between the pole and feeder and straight away caught a carp of 12lb that didn’t count. Then managed some Small Roach, Rudd and Skimmers to take second with 7lb 10oz.
Peter Warren spent the day on the waggler at various depths mainly catching Rudd to take third with 6lb 12oz.
