MATCH RESULT – Bordeaux Pit Sunday 17th May

Fourteen anglers fished the third Bordeaux match of the year, with a couple of new faces making up for the absence of a few of the ‘regulars’ who were away in the frozen wastelands of the north….

RESULTS:

1st Jason O’Dell – Peg 11 21lb 06oz [Lake peg no 30]

2nd John Oaknfull – Peg 2 16lb 10oz [Lake peg no 5]

3rd Pip Kerry – Peg 14 12lb 12oz [Lake peg no 26]

4th Bob Bonney – Peg 8 8lb 14oz [Lake peg no 35]

Jason O’Dell took the win on the favoured lake peg 30 [on the ‘narrows] with four of the larger Bream and a good support net of roach and perch for 21lb 06oz.

Second place went to John Oakenfull – fishing his first Club Match and mastering lake peg 5, including a cracking Tench in his net of 16lb 10oz.

Taking third spot was Pip Kerry who included three of the bigger Bream in his bag off 12lb 12oz, sitting on lake peg 26, nearest the island.

Bob Bonney made up the frame with a mixed bag of 8lb 14oz from lake peg 35 [the ‘Beach’].

Well done winners and framer on what was a pretty hard day after a week of varying temperatures. Full results sheet in the pics.
