Bordeaux Pit – Sunday 14th June

Thirteen anglers fished the latest Bordeaux match. We welcomed new member Trevor Sturge to his first of , hopefully, many matches. Conditions seemed pretty much perfect – not to warm, decent cloud cover and just a gentle breeze. Never-the – less, it was pretty tough going, with the fish seemingly spread unevenly around the lake.

RESULTS:

1st Dean Williams – Peg 12 31lb 03oz [Lake peg no 29]

2nd Pip Kerry – Peg 1 15lb 08oz [Lake peg no 9]

3rd Mark Fitzjohn – Peg 9 10lb 15ozs [Lake peg no 34]

4th Nigel Pavitt – Peg 2 10lb 14oz [Lake peg no 6]

Well done winners and framers on what was a pretty hard day after a week of varying temperatures.

Date for you diaries – Next Club Match – Sunday 26th July at Bordeaux. The ‘booking post’ will appear two weeks before the match as usual.

The River – Opening Day Match is on TUESDAY 16th June. The River Summer League commences on SUNDAY 21st June.
